The Shure UA834WB is a low-noise, in-line VHF and UHF antenna amplifier designed for remote-mounting antennas in professional wireless installations. Operating within the 470 – 952 MHz range, it amplifies RF signals to compensate for signal loss that occurs over long coaxial cable runs, ensuring stable and reliable wireless performance in large venues, auditoriums, and installed systems.

The UA834WB is compatible with Shure receivers including BLX4R, SLX4, QLX-D, ULX-D, UR4, and AXT400, as well as the UA844+ and UA845UWB Antenna Distribution Systems. It replaces the earlier UA830 model and receives power directly through its output port from a compatible Shure receiver, UABIAST, or antenna distribution amplifier. A two-position gain selector switch allows users to adjust amplification based on cable length, with a 6 dB setting for cables under 7.5 m (25 ft) and a 12 dB setting for cables over 7.5 m (25 ft). The unit can be mounted using the supplied desk or wall bracket or attached to a microphone stand, offering flexible installation options for optimized antenna placement.
