The Behringer S32 Digital Stage Box is a high-performance 32-input, 16-output remote I/O solution designed for professional live sound, touring, and installation environments. Engineered to integrate seamlessly with Behringer digital consoles and AES50-based systems, the S32 delivers exceptional audio quality, advanced networking, and extensive connectivity for large-scale productions.

Equipped with 32 MIDAS-designed, fully programmable mic preamps, the S32 ensures pristine sound reproduction with outstanding dynamic range and low noise performance. It also features 16 analogue, servo-balanced XLR outputs for flexible signal routing. AES50 network ports powered by Klark Teknik’s SuperMAC technology provide ultra-low jitter and latency, enabling stable digital audio transmission over long distances. Dual AES50 ports allow cascading of additional S16, SD16, or SD8 stage boxes without requiring a merger or router.

The S32 supports ULTRANET connectivity for integration with the Behringer P16 personal monitoring system and compatible Turbosound speaker systems, offering streamlined in-ear monitoring and digital speaker control. An automatic AES50 stage-split mode allows easy connection between Behringer X32 Series front-of-house and monitor consoles. Additionally, two AES-3 (AES/EBU) ports enable direct digital connection to PA system controllers.

For expanded digital output options, the S32 includes dual ADAT optical outputs providing 16 channels of digital audio. A convenient “Mute All” function allows quiet input patching on stage, while MIDI In/Out ports enable bi-directional communication with Behringer X32 Series consoles and on-stage MIDI devices. The unit supports remote operation via shielded CAT5e cable up to 100 meters and includes a USB port for system updates.

Powered by a universal “Planet Earth” switching power supply (100–240V) for global compatibility and energy efficiency, the S32 is housed in a rugged, all-steel 3U rack-mount chassis built to withstand demanding touring conditions.
