The Ottocanali 4K4 DSP+D from Powersoft is an eight-channel high-power installation amplifier designed for large-scale, mission-critical audio systems. Built in a 2RU chassis and weighing 14 kg, it features a universal switch-mode power supply with Power Factor Correction, tolerant up to 400VAC, along with a patented ripple-cancellation output filter and low inrush limiting for simplified integration. Efficient thermal management with temperature-controlled variable-speed fans and front-to-back airflow ensures stable operation even under demanding conditions.

The amplifier includes comprehensive protection systems such as AC, clip, DC, VHF, short-circuit, long-term RMS limiting, and thermal safeguards up to 80°C. It can directly drive low-impedance loads or 70V/100V high-impedance distributed lines, supports mixed Lo-Z/Hi-Z configurations, and offers bridged operation per channel pair with selectable 35Hz/70Hz high-pass filters.

Powered by a TI C6000 DSP platform with dual 24-bit/96kHz converters delivering 127 dB dynamic range per channel, it provides advanced processing including parametric IIR and custom FIR filters, linear-phase and hybrid crossovers, delays up to 2 seconds on inputs and 100 ms on outputs, Active DampingControl™, and comprehensive TruePower™, RMS voltage/current, and peak limiting. Remote control and monitoring are available through ArmoníaPlus, while integrated GPIO, NC/NO alarm contacts, AUX/MAIN input switching, remote ON/OFF, and a 24VDC PWS OUT connector make it ideal for complex installed sound environments requiring maximum flexibility and control.
