The Audio-Technica ATW-3211/831 is a fourth-generation 3000 Series rackmount wireless microphone system designed for presenters, performers, clergy, and lecturers who require dependable, professional-grade audio performance. Built for business environments, educational institutions, houses of worship, theaters, and live stages, this system combines advanced RF reliability with intuitive control features to ensure clear, natural sound reproduction in demanding settings.
At the heart of the system is a true-diversity rackmount receiver housed in a rugged full-metal chassis with removable antennas, making it ideal for both portable flight cases and permanent installations. The receiver features a dual-mode OLED display that provides an intuitive interface for quick navigation and monitoring. With a wide 60 MHz tuning range and an auto-scan function capable of searching through 2,395 selectable frequencies, the system efficiently identifies and deploys a clean, interference-free channel. For added security, users can program a backup frequency in advance and instantly switch to it using the transmitter’s multifunction button if unexpected interference occurs.
The system includes the AT831cH cardioid lavalier microphone, engineered to deliver crisp, full-bodied vocal pickup while also performing effectively for instrument applications. The rugged bodypack transmitter features a durable metal housing and a proprietary Hirose 4-pin cH-style screw-down connector to ensure a secure microphone connection. It offers selectable 10 mW or 30 mW RF power output to help overcome interference in challenging RF environments and provides a transmission range of up to 330 feet. Powered by two AA NiMH rechargeable batteries (available separately), the transmitter delivers up to 9.5 hours of continuous operation. Supporting up to 40 simultaneous microphone channels per frequency band, the ATW-3211/831 system offers scalability, flexibility, and reliable wireless performance for professional audio applications.
