The Quattrocanali 1204 DSP+D from Powersoft is a compact four-channel amplifier designed for professional installed sound systems requiring flexibility, control, and reliability. Housed in a lightweight 1RU chassis (7 kg), it features a patented ripple-cancellation output filter, low inrush limiting to reduce AC startup current, and a detachable IEC mains connection. Efficient front-to-back cooling with temperature-controlled variable-speed fans and LCD-based thermal history monitoring ensures stable long-term operation.

Comprehensive protection systems include AC, clip, DC, VHF, short-circuit, long-term RMS limiting, and thermal safeguards up to 80°C. Advanced user settings allow digital gain/attenuation control, defeatable clip limiters and gates per channel, selectable gain/sensitivity, adjustable maximum output power, and user-selectable maximum mains current draw. Setup can be secured via access key code, and built-in RS-485 enables full diagnostics and system monitoring.

Powered by a TI C6000 DSP platform with dual 24-bit/48kHz converters, it offers independent input/output EQ (PEQ, raised cosine, shelving IIR, and custom FIR filters), up to 100 ms delay, Active DampingControl™, and Peak, RMS voltage, RMS current, and TruePower™ limiters.
