The BSS Audio EC-4B is a versatile Ethernet wall controller designed for seamless integration within Harman HiQnet systems. Engineered to control and monitor parameters in BSS Audio Soundweb London processors, Crown DCi series amplifiers, and other HiQnet-compatible devices, the EC-4B provides intuitive and reliable system management for professional audio installations.

Featuring a single Ethernet port, the EC-4B supports configuration, control, monitoring, and power via PoE (Power over Ethernet), allowing for clean and efficient single-cable installation. Setup is streamlined through simple drag-and-drop configuration within the HiQnet Audio Architect software, making system integration straightforward and flexible.

The controller includes four programmable buttons and a 64 × 128 pixel LCD screen, both with multi-color backlighting capable of displaying up to eight colors with adjustable intensity. The buttons can be configured for binary parameter control such as mute, preset recall, or source selection, while the LCD screen supports custom text display for clear user feedback. A built-in sleep function turns off LEDs after a period of inactivity to prevent distraction in dimly lit environments, automatically reactivating upon user interaction.

For enhanced security, the EC-4B supports remote lock and unlock functionality through control systems, as well as local unlocking via a four-digit PIN entered using the front-panel buttons. Available in black or white finishes and in both US Decora and EU single-gang form factors, the EC-4B combines flexibility, functionality, and modern design for commercial, corporate, hospitality, and entertainment environments.
