The Allen & Heath CQ-12T is a compact, intelligent digital mixer designed for bands, solo performers, AV professionals, content creators, and installed sound applications. Featuring powerful 96kHz processing, intuitive touchscreen control, and flexible connectivity, it delivers professional-grade mixing in a portable and rack-mountable format.

The CQ-12T offers 13 inputs to mix, including 10 mono/linkable channels and 3 stereo channels, providing versatile connectivity for microphones, instruments, and playback sources. It includes 5 XLR mic/line inputs, 5 XLR/TRS combi mic/line inputs, and a stereo line input (2x TRS). A dedicated stereo USB input and stereo Bluetooth input allow seamless connection of computers and wireless playback devices.

For outputs, the mixer provides a stereo Main LR output (2x XLR), 6 aux outputs (linkable up to 3 stereo mixes), 6 TRS output sockets, and a stereo headphone output. This flexible routing makes it suitable for monitor mixes, in-ear systems, installed sound zones, and recording applications.

Powered by 96kHz input/output processing, the CQ-12T ensures high-resolution audio quality throughout the signal chain. It features 2 multi-FX engines, delivering professional reverb, delay, and modulation effects for live and studio use.

The built-in 7” capacitive touchscreen with 5 dedicated screen keys offers fast and intuitive control. Three configurable SoftKeys and a configurable single/dual footswitch connection provide quick access to frequently used functions. The mixer also includes 4 mute groups and 4 DCAs for efficient mix management during live performances.

For recording and playback, the CQ-12T is exceptionally versatile. It features USB-A for stereo audio record/playback and data, USB-B for multichannel audio recording/playback to a computer, and an SD card slot for direct multichannel recording and playback—making it ideal for live recording, content creation, and virtual soundcheck.

An RJ45 network socket allows the mixer to operate as a network client for remote control via free Allen & Heath control apps available for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices.
