The BSS Audio EC-V is a sleek and intuitive Ethernet wall controller designed for integration within Harman HiQnet systems. Built to control and monitor parameters in BSS Audio Soundweb London processors, Crown DCi series amplifiers, and other HiQnet-compatible devices, the EC-V delivers precise and user-friendly control for professional audio environments.

Equipped with a single Ethernet port, the EC-V supports configuration, control, monitoring, and power via PoE (Power over Ethernet), enabling clean and efficient single-cable installation. Configuration is handled through simple drag-and-drop functionality within HiQnet Audio Architect software, ensuring seamless system setup and customization.

The controller features one programmable push/rotary encoder and a multi-color backlit encoder ring capable of displaying up to eight colors with adjustable intensity. The rotary encoder allows smooth continuous parameter adjustment, such as volume control, while the push function can be configured for binary controls like mute or preset recall. The illuminated encoder ring provides dynamic visual feedback, including a bouncing audio meter, temporary volume level display during adjustment, and clear muted/unmuted status indication.

Designed with user comfort in mind, the EC-V includes a sleep function that turns off LEDs after a period of inactivity to minimize distraction in dimly lit spaces, automatically reactivating upon interaction. For added security, the controller supports remote lock and unlock functionality through integrated control systems.
