The JBL Control 88M is a high-performance outdoor landscape speaker engineered to deliver powerful, full-range sound with 360° coverage. Designed for in-ground or surface mounting, it is ideal for shopping malls, theme parks, sports venues, hotels, resorts, restaurants, and other hospitality or leisure environments requiring high-quality music and paging. Its compact, unobtrusive design allows it to blend seamlessly into landscaped surroundings.

Equipped with an 8-inch highly weather-resistant driver and a 1-inch soft-dome weather-resistant tweeter, the Control 88M provides rich, balanced audio with an extended frequency response of 47Hz–16kHz. It handles 120W pink noise (240W program) in direct 8Ω operation and includes a built-in 60W 70V/100V multi-tap transformer for flexible installation options.

The rugged polyethylene enclosure is built to withstand harsh weather and accidental impact from lawn care equipment, with color molded throughout the material to maintain its appearance even if scratched. A fully isolated center chamber protects wiring for enhanced durability and long-term reliability in demanding outdoor applications.
