The Yamaha EMX5 is a robust, box-style powered mixer designed for portable live sound applications. Combining a high-efficiency Class-D power amplifier with an intuitive mixer section, it delivers reliable performance, strong output power, and essential sound-shaping tools in a compact and easy-to-transport design.

The EMX5 features a powerful Class-D amplifier delivering up to 2 x 630W at 4Ω and 2 x 460W at 8Ω (1kHz, THD+N <10% CEA2006), and 2 x 500W at 4Ω / 2 x 370W at 8Ω (1kHz, THD+N <1% CEA2006). This ensures clean, efficient power suitable for bands, houses of worship, schools, small events, and medium-sized venues.

With 12 line inputs (8 mono + 4 stereo), the EMX5 provides flexible connectivity for microphones, instruments, and playback devices. Channel 4 includes a dedicated High-Z input, allowing guitars or basses to be connected directly without the need for an external DI box.

For simple yet effective system tuning, the EMX5 features Yamaha’s 1-Knob Master EQ™, which allows you to quickly optimize your overall sound with a single control. A built-in Feedback Suppressor automatically detects and reduces problematic frequencies, helping to maintain stable, clear sound during live performances.

The mixer includes 24 professional onboard digital effects such as reverb, delay, and modulation, enabling you to enhance vocals and instruments without external processors.

Built with a durable metal chassis for extended operation and rugged reliability, the EMX5 is designed to withstand demanding environments. Large integrated handles ensure excellent portability and protection during transport. A universal power supply eliminates concerns about voltage fluctuations, making it suitable for use in various locations.

An optional rack-mount kit is available for fixed installation or rack-based setups.

With its powerful amplification, user-friendly controls, built-in effects, and portable design, the Yamaha EMX5 is an ideal all-in-one powered mixer solution for dependable live sound reinforcement.
